Privacy Policy — Last updated: July 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Iron Descent ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
We do not collect any personal information that identifies you. The App does not require an account, sign-in, or profile of any kind.
All game data — including your character progress, gold, items, run history, and settings — is stored locally on your device using your device's built-in storage. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us or stored on our servers.
Iron Descent is supported by optional rewarded video ads (for example, to revive after death or unlock a shrine bonus) served through Google AdMob. Ads only play when you choose to watch one — the App does not show ads at any other time.
To serve ads, including personalized ads, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may collect and use information such as your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, or the Android advertising ID), device information, general location (derived from IP address), and ad interaction data. This is handled by Google and its partners under their own privacy policies, not by us directly.
On iOS, the App will request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before using your advertising identifier for personalized ads. You can allow or deny this request, and can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or opt out of ad personalization in Settings → Privacy → Ads. Declining or opting out does not stop ads from being shown — you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.
For more information on how Google handles data through AdMob, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from partner sites.
The only third-party service integrated into the App is Google AdMob, used solely to deliver the optional rewarded ads described above. We do not use any other analytics, advertising, or social login SDKs, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone else.
Iron Descent does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. If the App is configured for a child-directed audience or accessed by a child, ad requests are made without personalized advertising in accordance with applicable law, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Because all game data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can reset your progress from within the App's settings, or remove all locally stored data by uninstalling the App.
Since no personal data is transmitted to or stored on our servers, there is no risk of your game data being exposed through a remote data breach. Your save data is as secure as your device itself.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
